Varies with the food, and the person, and the type of activity the person has done, and what food they have eaten subsequently. 24-48 hours is pretty close to average.

Junk food, which usually is highly processed is more quickly absorbed, so probably shorter time there.

    It depends on the food and on your body. Everyone is different.

    Jello goes through quickly. Meat doesn’t. And both will go through you more quickly than they will through a constipated old lady.

    2.) yes, but that does not mean in will stay in your body until it is completely digested.

    Anything solid takes more than ten hours to digest, as of smoother stuff is easily digested.

    It depends on the food. Red meat can take up to 48 hours to digest and sit rotting in your gut before it exits. Gross eh?
