I want to be a chef and go into Culinary arts. There are colleges I belive that hold Culinary Arts, I don’t know if you can get a degree in Culinary Arts? What do you do after you graduate from that Art school? Do you start your own business? Do you work at Burger King? How long soes it take to graduate from that school? Do you even go to college?

I am not far from the Culinary Institute of America. Yes, it is a college of culinary arts. I presume it is hard to get into. Check out their website
I’m pretty sure it’s not a degree you get, rather a certificate/diploma in the culinary arts. You can definitely work in a high-end restaurant, the advisors at your college should be able to help you answer the dreaded career questions before you graduate. Also if you internship somewhere, you’ll be able to start of at a higher wage than others.
I have a sister and a SIL who are both from a school of the culinary side but I have as of yet heard them speak of a degree. I do know hat during your time in school you also work in or at different restaurants. Some are very high class. I know for my self b4 I join the military i was offered the school in New Jersey and could work and my aunts golf club. They had to pay something around $ 1000 dues each year. As it turned out I went into the service’s instead after 2 years of cooking in HS. I still try to apply some of it around home and enjoy cooking as well as the cooking channel. I have often considered attending the school here in NC not far from home but I think my age and disability won’t let me. i have done some cooking for the DAV. It was fun.
You can get a diploma or a degree, depending on how serious you want to get. Anyone can start their own business, the question is whether or not it is going to suck.
