Follow my instruction: this method have been tested by me, on windows xp sp2 and 100% working perfectly.

  1. Click Start – Run – write Regedit – will displayed registry editor — go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsNTCurrent VersionWPAEvents

  2. Dobule Click OOBE TIMER to modify it, remove 2 character, up to your choice. Then click OKoobe timer
  3. Click Start- Run-copy paste this code in the text box %systemroot%system32oobemsoobe.exe /a then clik OK. Will display window “let active windows” any three options. Choose the second option “Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to activate Windows” then clik Next

  4. No need to fill, directly click Change Product Keychange product key
  5. Input the serial number (Get Serial Number Here). Then click Update.

  6. The Display back to before. Just click REMIND LATER
  7. Finish. to check the authenticity windows, use tool Microsoft genuine advantage diagnostic. Download Tool here. if the result of validation status is genuine. this mean your windows is Original
